Hong Kong, July 16, 2014 — Chris Brooke, Executive Managing Director, Consulting, Asia Pacific at CBRE, has been appointed to the Leadership Team of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Mr Brooke will serve as a Vice President of the RICS for a three year term effective July 1, 2014. This is the first time he has held the position.
The Leadership Team of the RICS is elected by the Governing Council of the institution as its highest body of membership, and members of the team are considered to be the most senior ambassadors of the profession.
The team provides leadership and oversight to the highest priority issues facing the organization and plays a key role in supporting the institution to meet the vision set out by RICS’ Governing Council to be “recognized in key worldwide markets as the leading body that sets and enforces professional standards and offers access to the most sought-after professional status”.

Chris Brooke has over 25 years’ experience in the property industry and joined CBRE in 2003. Chris has also been Chairman of the RICS Asia World Regional Board since 2010.
