European I&L volumes increased 10% in 2020 to over €40bn
-European industrial and logistics investment increased 10% YoY during 2020 to reach a total of €40.4bn.
-I&L volumes continued to outperform the wider property market, which fell 20%, excluding I&L’s contribution.
-The best performers in 2020 were the Netherlands, 63% higher and Poland, up by 59%.
-German investment rose 12%, but was no longer the largest European market, as the UK gained 40% to over €10bn.
-Volumes in 4Q 2020 were 17% higher than the same period in 2019 at €17.2bn
-Investment doubled in the Nordics and Benelux, surged 188% in Iberia and increased 112% in the UK.
